Scatter Scatter is back – twice!

The Scatter Scatter Tropical Discotheque is back with two big August shows at The Prince! Get down to nothing but the deepest afro grooves and tropical funk

The first installment sees the triumphant return of The Shaolin Afronauts, launching their new LP ‘Quest Under Capricorn’. Alongside them will be local afro cats Papa Chango playing tracks from their recent album ‘The Matador’.  The Public Opinion Sound System with MC’s N’fa & 1/6 will bring their percussive dancefloor fire.

The second part features The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra plus psychedelic cumbia beats from The Cumbia Cosmonauts.  On both nights DJ’s Manchild and Jumps will keep it bubbling with the deepest from their heavy african, island and columbian funk crates.

Afro-beat at the football

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of performing at the MCG, Victoria’s largest arena, as part of the AFL’s Multicultural Round.  Our song Do Anything Go Anywhere was also featured on their TV commercial and other media.  There were 65,000 people in attendance on the night – quite a day!
